Their first ride. Their first freedom.

The Banwood Balance Bike is the bike that taught a generation of kids to ride. With no pedals to confuse small minds and no training wheels to take off, our balance bike teaches the one skill that matters: balance. The skill that turns into riding, naturally, when they're ready.

Hand-built in Denmark with a powder-coated steel frame, leather saddle, leather grips, and our signature wicker basket, every detail is considered. The geometry is designed by ex-pro cyclists for kids aged 2.5-5 years — low enough that little feet always touch the ground, light enough that they can pick it up themselves, and built strong enough to be passed down to a younger sibling.

Hannah V. ★★★★★

My daughter took to it instantly—the lack of pedals means she just pushes and glides, and the rose color is even prettier in person. She's already cruising around the park with a huge grin.

The seat adjusts low enough that my two-year-old can plant both feet flat, which made her confident from day one. No pedals meant she skipped the whole wobbling-with-training-wheels phase entirely. The rose paint has held up through a summer of driveway crashes too.

Alexander ★★★★★

My daughter figured out the balance thing within a week of trying this, and the no-pedals setup really does make it click faster than training wheels ever did. The seat adjusts low enough that her feet actually touch the ground, which gave her the confidence to push off on her own.
